About Us

An independent M&A, valuation, transaction execution, and capital raising Company, with offices in Southern CA, providing financial and strategic advisory services for businesses engaged in mergers, capitalizations, valuation of assets/financial instruments, expert witness work, sell/buy-side advisory, corporate IR, and/or pre-deal diligence.

Typical deals range from $5-$100mm for asset based loans, A/R financings, cash flow based loans with mezzanine structures, preferred equity, and common equity. We can structure a deal that works to include acquisitions, growth capital, re-financings, and other situations. For debt capital, an equity component and current cash flow is typically required and for equity, a strong management track record.

We work in multiple industry verticals including, but not limited to, real estate, industrial water, infrastructure, ESG spaces (both transportation and power: bio/renewable diesel, electric vehicles/charging, technology-based monitoring and optimization in green spaces, and others), fintech, industrial asset and service based businesses, and technology. We provide teams that ensure strong project management and execution from bid stage to closing working with internal stakeholders, lenders, and attorneys to document the Transaction and ensure closing.

Meet Mike Jones

Mike Jones has 17 years of finance experience and has served in both corporate finance (Cash Flow/Balance Sheet Mgmt., FP&A, Treasury, IR, Commercial Agreement, External Tax/Audit partner), and Investment banking roles, with a lens toward strategic financial planning and execution across the capital structure. He is currently the Principal of Jones Capital partnering with corporate teams on transactions, and a Director at Numeric Solutions working on pre-deal diligence, expert witness written memoranda & reports, valuation opinions, and private equity sponsored interim financial mgmt. roles. Mike’s career rolls up a skill set of strategy consulting, banking, capital markets, and government/regulatory work.

Mr. Jones has experience in private placements and advisory engagements in the middle market. His tenure at Stifel included $35-$100mm debt/equity raises, as well as M&A for both public and private companies. Relationships with Investors stem from banking as well as a long tenure as a Research Analyst at Capstone, Imperial, Hapoalim, and FBR analyzing and creating cash flow models for financing purposes. Mike’s background and upbringing in Washington D.C., tenure at the University of Virginia, and experience in the U.S. Government as a Director at Capstone were instrumental in the formation of his due diligence and business strategy process. Mike started his career as an equity, commodity, and infrastructure analyst at FBR. Capital structure analysis at Imperial Capital and Accenture’s Strategy practice in San Francisco cemented the West Coast roll-up with technology and planning as two key cornerstones to the Jones Capital vision.
